The sale of tickets for 2020 PZM WARSAW FIM SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX OF POLAND at PGE Narodowy has started

The sixth edition of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix tournament at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw will be held on May 16, 2020 (beginning at 7:00 p.m.). On track we will see the 2019 Individual Speedway World Champion – Bartosz Zmarzlik.

At the PGE Narodowy will start also two other Poles – full participants of the competition in the 2020 FIM Speedway Grand Prix – Maciej Janowski and Patryk Dudek. What is more, there will be an additional representative of Poland with a wild card (the name will be announced in spring 2020) and two reserve riders.

In Warsaw we will see Bartosz Zmarzlik, who in 2019 won the FIM SGP tournament and become for a first time in his career a World Champion. The rider is a third polish sportsman with this title. The first one was Jerzy Szczakiel in 1973. The second one Tomasz Gollob in 2010.

Nearly 55 thousand spectators had a great time during the previous edition, when Patryk Dudek stood on the podium; the winner was Dane, Leon Madsen. Champions of Warsaw tournament are also: Matej Zagar (2015) from Slovenia, Tai Woffinden (2016 and 2018) – Great Britain and Fredrik Lindgren (2017) – Sweden.

2020 PZM Warsaw FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland is the event that has become a permanent fixture in the speedway calendar and enjoys great popularity. Over the past five years it has been watched live on PGE Narodowy by over 250 thousand spectators.

In 2015 Jarosław Hampel took the third place in Warsaw, and in 2017-2018 Maciej Janowski stood on the second step of the podium. Last year Pole was close to win the Warsaw tournament but finally Patryk Dudek was a second rider of the evening.

The history shows that supporters from all over speedway Poland are coming to Warsaw to be witnesses of the biggest speedway event in the world.

– Finally, we have a third Polish rider who became the Individual Speedway World Champion. Zmarzlik followed in the footsteps of Tomasz Gollob and Jerzy Szczakiel. The competition in Warsaw will be special for us, because we are still waiting for the Pole’s victory in the capital. – says Michał Sikora, President of the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. – PGE Narodowy is a place that generates positive atmosphere and promotes excellent sports competitions. I am convinced that those fans who have not been at the Warsaw tournament should feel the amazing atmosphere of this place – adds Michał Sikora.

– I achieved my sport’s goals thanks to the Polish fans and the title of 2019 Speedway World Champion was the best ending of the season– says Bartosz Zmarzlik. – Support of the fans is important for me and at PGE Narodowy you can feel it very intensive. Tickets for 2020 PZM Warsaw FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland since 09.10.2019. The cheapest tickets from 29 PLN. From 1.01.2020 tickets are 10 PLN more expensive in each category (except for category VI, VIP SILVER and VIP GOLD).
