Tickets sales for Speedway World Cup in Warsaw
Tickets will be available to purchase via KupBilet and eBilet.pl portals. The first stage of tickets sale starts on 25th November 2025
The second stage of tickets sale starts on 01st January 2026.
The best speedway event that Polish fans love is back. On August 29, the 2026 PZM FIM SPEEDWAY WORLD CUP – WARSAW will take place at PGE Narodowy. Tickets at very attractive prices, starting at 69 PLN.
The formula is simple, well-known and popular: four teams, four riders and a reserve, plus the classic twenty-run format. What more could you want than enjoying speedway in the company of 50,000 fans at PGE Narodowy?
– Great encouragement, fans in white and red colors, and a good mood, because unforgettable moments are coming. These are the competitions we love as Poles – says Michał Sikora, President of the Polish Motor Union. – We won in 2023 in Wroclaw, and now we are returning to PGE Narodowy, where we have organized Grand Prix every year. We return symbolically, because the Polish Speedway National Team played their official competition there only once, in 2016 with the Rest of the World and… lost, so we have something to prove at a definitely different level of responsibility – adds Michał Sikora.
Cheap tickets starting at 69 PLN are already on sale. In this format, Speedway World Cup held every three years, the Poles will go to PGE Narodowy for the first time and probably the last. The organizers emphasize that since the Polish national team specializes in the Speedway World Cup and has won this competition almost every year (9 times!), it is also the best speedway event.
– As Poles, we do it best organizationally, creating optimal conditions for fans, right at the PGE National Stadium – says Stanisław Chomski, who won gold in the 2005 Speedway World Cup with the Polish Speedway National Team as coach. – This is a sport and anything can happen, so we must arm ourselves with patience and calmly wait for what the future will bring and cheer for our national team – adds for ekstraliga.pl.
Marek Cieślak, legendary coach of the Polish national team, emphasizes: – For me, the top events are still Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup – he says for the ekstraliga.pl.
Speedway World Cup was held every year from 2001 to 2017. It was then replaced by the Speedway of Nations format (2018-2022). The cycle resumed in 2023 and is held every 3 years.
The first team to win the SWC was Australia (2001). In the latest edition (in Wroclaw, 2023), the best were the Poles, ahead of the Great Britain and Denmark.

A total of three teams have the most medals – Poland, Denmark, and Sweden (13)
Individually, Jarosław Hampel has the most gold medals (6).
In the 2026 PZM FIM SPEEDWAY WORLD CUP – WARSAW (August 29, PGE Narodowy), Poland will certainly compete with Australia, which won the Speedway of Nations 2025 in Torun. The next two teams will be selected from the semifinals. These will take place in Germany (May 1 in Landshut) and Latvia (August 7 in Riga).
2026 PZM FIM SPEEDWAY WORLD CUP – WARSAW participants: Poland (host), Australia (2025 SON winner), and two teams from the semi-finalists: Germany, Latvia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
What is the recipe for success according to Marek Cieślak? – It was necessary to remove the weight of a lack of belief in their abilities from the riders, because our speedway riders were winning against rivals in the league, so why wouldn’t they do it in the Speedway World Cup? – he says for ekstraliga.pl. – The riders themselves realized that they are able to win against top rivals in the world and that’s all. It must be said that the teams of our rivals, such as the Swedes with Fredrik Lindgren and Antonio Lindbaeck, the Danes with Nicki Pedersen, Hans Andersen, and Niels Kristian Iversen or the Australians with Jason Crump, Leigh Adams, and Ryan Sullivan, really made an impression. However, the main reason for our success was the introduction of drastic mental changes. Our wins didn’t come easily, because we used a joker and won by a small margin. Poland was on a wave back then and we worked hard for that – recalls the old days.
